the true light

"Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in Him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining."

now this is the question i asked my young life girls, and this is the question i ask myself probably twelve times a day (and it should be more):

are we really living like the true light is already shining? are we living like Christ was already victorious? like the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand?





mostly the answer is no.

because what would that look like?

oh that would look like us living into the Kingdom, living into a life with Him, living into redemption.

but we're too often too busy living into this world and our schedules and thinking about silly little things like do these shoes match at all with what i'm wearing (usually no) to bother with all that.

something's going to change though. real soon too. i know it. and it's going to be bigger than any of us have been imagining.
