chivalry

today i was at goodwill because my class was canceled and well i needed to get new candles of course.

i was on my way out, and this old man (really really old) was on his way in. i went to go grab the door to open it for him, but he beat me to it and insisted upon holding the door for me.

"beauty before age," he said.

and i love him.

i really wish i had been able to meet my grandfathers before they died because i'm pretty sure i would have loved them a lot.
