the city in the evening gives me a headache and makes me want to put a rusty nail through my eye.
i love it in the day. i love it late at night.
i hate it in the evening. it's dark and there are people everywhere and everyone has places to be.
too too many people.
that didn't used to freak me out as much as it does now.
i used to think i'd like to live in the city for a little while at least. now no way. not to say that i won't, but to say that it would no longer be one of my first choices.
that's weird to me.
holland, michigan has ruined me.
today i learned how to break into cars while i held the flashlight for the AAA man who was helping me when i locked myself out of my car. useful life skill.
also we saw where the wild things are, and let me just say:
while it is a movie about imaginings,
it is one of the most real movies i have ever seen.
figure that one out.
