this one is important:
i was in mcdonald's on my drive home because i wanted caffeine. there was an elderly couple in front of me in line and the lady behind the counter (who was so very nice and friendly) asked how long they'd been married.
sixty years, they said. and then the man said this: "i feel like i've been married to her my whole life, and i wouldn't have it any other way." and his wife just smiled, and they took their parfaits and went to go sit down together.
